Privacy policy
NewBizPartner is an EXITstrategies program run by ExitStrategies.com ("we", "us"). This page explains what we collect when you use newbizpartner.com, why, who receives it, and how to ask us to show you or delete it.
What we collect
- What you type into our form: your name, email, company, your role, what you want to explore, and any optional answers (type of business, state, timing, revenue and earnings bands, your role after a deal).
- Your phone number, only if you give it, and whether you ticked the optional box agreeing to calls or texts.
- Where the inquiry came from: the page address, the page that sent you here, and any campaign tags in the link (for example, which ad you clicked).
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the time of a visit) to run and protect the site. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
If you reach us through an ad on Facebook or Instagram, Meta's own privacy policy covers what Meta collects. If you answer a Meta instant form, Meta passes us the answers you give there.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and follow up about your inquiry.
- To assess whether we are a good fit for what you want to explore.
- To call or text you, only if you agreed to that. Consent is never required to send the form, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- To keep basic business records and to protect the site against misuse.
Who receives it
- Our team, the advisors who review and answer inquiries.
- The service providers we use to run our work: our CRM, our email providers, our website host, and the software we use for internal work, including AI tools we use behind the scenes for buyer matching. They handle your information for us, not for their own marketing.
- Buyers, only with your say-so. Nothing that identifies you or your company goes to a buyer unless you authorize it, and then only to a qualified buyer under an NDA.
- Others only where the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to anyone for their marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to talk with you, to handle any engagement that follows, and to keep the business records we are required to keep. When we no longer need it, we delete it or strip out what identifies you. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).
Seeing, fixing or deleting your information
Email us at info@exitstrategies.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Tell us the email address you used so we can find it. We may need to check that it is you before we act, and we will tell you if a legal duty means we have to keep something.
Keeping it safe
We limit who can see inquiries and use providers with reasonable security. No method of sending or storing data is perfect, so please do not send financial statements or passwords through the form; we will ask for documents through a secure route if it ever gets that far.
Children and changes
This site is for business owners and is not meant for anyone under 18. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
